Infrastructure and Grant Administration

The Infrastructure and Grant Administration section is comprised of three branches; Grant Administration, Public Assistance and Mitigation. The Public Assistance Branch administers the State's Public Assistance Program for the eligible applicants; the Grant Administration Branch oversees the administration of multiple state and federal grants that enhance the emergency management capabilities throughout the state; and the Mitigation Branch provides assistance to local, tribal, and state partners with resources and support to develop and manage mitigation projects.

Effective grant administration involves identifying eligible recipients, developing grant applications, monitoring the use of funds, and reporting on progress and outcomes. It is essential to ensure that grant funds are used for their intended purposes and that they reach those most in need.
