Medical Simulation Training Center
The Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) provides realistic medical training to both medical and non-medical military members of the Department of Defense. The MSTC provides hand-on instruction on the most up to date battlefield trauma and critical pre-hospital care techniques based on the Defense Health Agencies’ Joint Trauma System - Clinical Practice Guidelines and approved programs of instruction (POI) from the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence.
Location: The Arizona Army National Guard MSTC is located on Papago Park Military Reservation at, 5636 East McDowell Road, BLDG M 5668, Phoenix, AZ 85008
Directions: Located North East corner of 52nd Street and McDowell Road, In Phoenix, AZ. Once on Papago Park Military Reservation, the building is North East of the Medical Readiness Detachment – AZ. From front gate, take Roughriders Rd West to Ft Verde Ln. Continue North on Ft Verde Ln until end of road and terminates into a parking lot.
MSTC Courses Offered:
- 68W Recertification (TC 8-800 Tables 1 – 8) – 7 Days
- Deployed Medicine – Combat Life Saver Course (CLC) – 4 Days
- Deployed Medicine – Tactical Combat Casualty Case – All Service Members (8 Hours)
- 68W Tactical Combat Casualty Care Sustainment (3 Days)
- Basic Life Support (Healthcare Providers) – 4 Hours
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support – 16 Hours
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support – 16 Hours
The MSTC and training personnel can conduct ad hoc training, such as stand alone Tables. Please fill out a request form with type of training requested and dates needed.
