Sexual Assault Prevention and Response

Our mission is to ensure that all victims of sexual assault receive the care and support they deserve. We aim to achieve an environment free of sexual harassment and assault by providing education and encouraging bystander intervention.

The SAPR program enhances Army readiness through the prevention of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and associated retaliatory behaviors while providing comprehensive response capabilities. The overall goal of the SAPR program is to create a climate that; minimizes sexual assault incidents, encourages victims to report incidents of sexual assault without fear, through prevention training and awareness programs to educate Soldiers. Our policy is to promote sensitive care and confidential reporting for victims of sexual assault and accountability for those who commit these crimes.
