Public Information Office

Welcome to the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) Public Information Office.

The DEMA Public Information Office communicates coordinated, timely and actionable crisis and emergency risk information to the public to reduce the impact of disasters on the Whole Community.

The Public Information Office uses traditional (e.g., print and TV) and new (e.g., social media) media, including the Arizona Emergency Information Network (AzEIN), to inform and empower audiences to prepare for, respond to, recover from and mitigate against the potential impacts of all hazards such as flooding and wildfire.

The Arizona Emergency Information Network (AzEIN) is a public service of DEMA, and the State of Arizona’s official source for emergency updates, preparedness and hazards information, and related resources. AzEIN is updated 24/7/365 with emergency information sent to DEMA by federal, state, tribal, local and volunteer response partners.

Bookmark AzEIN.gov to stay informed of emergencies affecting the State. We encourage you to also fan, follow and subscribe to AzEIN on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
