The mission of the DEMA Human Resources Office is to be a strategic partner by providing Human Resources programs that attract, develop, retain, and engage a skilled and diverse workforce.  DEMA Human Resources also provides policy direction on human resource management issues and human resources employment laws.

The DEMA Human Resources (HR) Office is also responsible for administering health benefits and workers compensation programs.  DEMA HR is a full service HR Office responsible for Classification and Compensation, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection, and HR related Training and Development programs.

The DEMA Human Resources Office has seven (7) employees in Phoenix and Flagstaff who support the Agency in all Human Resources functions and programs.
