The Recovery mission is to coordinate state and federal actions with local jurisdictions to assist impacted communities in recovering from and mitigating the effects of disasters. Through our various programs and activities, the Recovery Branch as a whole works to reduce human suffering and impact to jurisdictions before, during, and after disasters.
The Recovery Branch is broken into three key mission areas: Infrastructure, Human Services, Mitigation.
The Recovery Branch conducts the "Recovery Road Show" briefing for local jurisdictions on the various Recovery programs, as well as providing "best practices" for the programs.
A local jurisdiction can request a Recovery Road Show by sending an email to: [email protected]
