Lieutenant Colonel Geoffry S. Pankretz
Lt Colonel Geoffry Pankretz is the Commander of the Arizona Cyber Joint Task Force, Papago Park Military Reservation, Phoenix, Arizona. Lt Colonel Pankretz is responsible for executing cyber defense operations within the state of Arizona and training Army and Air Force cyber defense operators.
Lt Colonel Pankretz enlisted in the Air Force in July 1996 as an Instrumentation and Telemetry Technician. After basic training, he was assigned to the 84th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Tyndall AFB, FL. While at Tyndall AFB, He was selected as a recipient for an ROTC scholarship and, subsequently, attended the University of New Mexico to earn his undergraduate degree. Upon his commissioning in Dec 2002 as a communications officer, he served on Active Duty for 4 years and in Dec 2006 transitioned to the Air Force Reserves, where he served as a Communication Liaison to the A2 and as a Director of Operations. In 2008, he joined the Arizona National guard where he has served in a variety of roles including the A6, and as a Communication Flight Commander. Prior to his current assignment, Lt Colonel Pankretz served as the J6, Joint Task Force Arizona, Joint Force Headquarters, Arizona National Guard.
