The readiness of our force to support our State and Nation when called upon is the top priority of the Arizona National Guard and the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs. We have the responsibility to protect the health of our service members, civilian employees and their families. We have an obligation to preserve our ability to do our military mission and for our communities in which we serve.
By establishing facilitating ongoing communication and guidance, we aim to help our force get the F.A.C.T.S. about protecting themselves and their families.
We are empowering everyone with the F.A.C.T.S. about public health best practices from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention,Arizona Department of Health Services, and the health and medical professionals within our organization to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Our Soldier and Family Support Team continues to provide updated guidance on resources and benefits that have been modified or expanded to meet the needs of our Service Members and their Families. This includes education benefits, employment resources and assistance, substance abuse counselling, and children and youth programs.
By understanding the F.A.C.T.S. we can all help stop the spread of COVID-19 and adapt to a new normal.
