The purpose of this position is to maintain buildings and utility service systems in good repair and operation. Performs varied tasks within the Ammunition Storage Area (ASA) to include those facilities associated with Ammunition Transfer and Storage. Requires application of skilled and highly skilled abilities maintaining, repairing and routine construction, installation, and repair of electrical hardware to ensure electrical power is available within these facilities using the latest building codes. Performs preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment, conducting tests for grounds, shorts, opens and various electrical circuits and components and making emergency electrical service call as required. Participates in planning, estimating, costing, and ordering materials in a timely and efficient manner. Assures all work complies with national and local building codes and safety laws, rules, and regulations. Responsible for compliance with procedures, policies, work methods and safety. Responsible for assigned equipment.

This position provides armed security services to Papago Park Military Reservation (PPMR) to protect against threats
that would justify use of force, to include deadly force. Conducts physical security activities associated with installation
access control and critical asset protection. Provides other physical security equipment and services necessary to secure
ARNG resources, and personnel as approved by Army Operations Division Protection branch (ARNG-ODP).
Security Training Officer is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the agency’s Security Officer Training Program. This position will supervise, manage, coordinate and conduct training activities associated with DEMA Security initial and In-service training requirements. Monitors qualification status of all agency Security personnel and ensures the agency’s training program meets all standardized requirements (State/Federal). Security Training Officer reports directly to the Chief of Security.
