This Archaeologist position works closely with professionals and technical personnel engaged in conservation/preservation of cultural resources on all Arizona Army National Guard (AZARNG) managed land/facilities (both state and federal). Establishes program goals and oversees program implementation including contract budgets and contractor work, provides review of AZARNG projects for compliance with cultural resource laws, and makes recommendations to the Senior Cultural Resources Program Manager (SCRPM) on changes to the cultural program and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position exercises a high degree of independent decision making, contractor and project management, and is responsible for the success of the cultural resources archaeological program.

This Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing in-house building maintenance on facilities to include a variety of tasks including but not limited to routine maintenance and repair involving minor electrical, minor plumbing, and minor carpentry. This may include minor remodeling and construction of buildings and utility support services equipment.

The Disaster Recovery Specialist serves in a part-time, on-call, as-needed position.  Disaster Recovery Specialist is responsible for assisting communities, individuals, and businesses recovering from disaster damages. The Disaster Recovery Specialist works under the direction of the Human Services Coordinator in the Recovery Section of the Division of Emergency Management. The activities of the Individual Assistance program are the primary responsibility for assisting communities, individuals, and businesses recovering from disaster damages. This position is critical to allow DEMA adequate staffing surge capacity. Personally prepares for anytime (24/7) response and no-notice recall to the State or Alternate Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) and/or Joint Field Office (JFO) during disaster or exercise activations. Trains for specific SEOC positions (ESF 6 - Mass Care and Voluntary Agency/Private Sector Liaison support and backfill) and performs duties as assigned through internal agency policy.

This position has maintenance responsibilities for numerous disaster response and recovery facilities and equipment requiring a high state of readiness in order to support the State response to emergencies and disasters 24/7. The Emergency Physical Resources Officer will work out of the CFMO maintenance office and take on assignments from the Facilities Administrator.

This position performs routine to difficult tasks in building maintenance and repair in the following areas: grounds maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, heating and cooling. Determines and recommends equipment and materials required, including cost analysis. Responsible for conducting preventative and corrective work to unit facilities. Inspects and performs preventative maintenance on a predetermined schedule, in support of the international pilot training program. Works under limited supervision of Physical Plant Supervisor. Works with and assists other tradesmen in completing required tasks.

The Electrician performs journeyman level work in support of the international pilot training program, ensuring all electrical systems are operating efficiently and effectively. Works under limited supervision of a Physical Plant Supervisor including inspection, servicing, repairing and installing a wide variety of equipment, machinery and systems which use electrical power. Performs repair or upgrades to electrical service with needed requirements using the latest building codes. Performs skilled electrical duties and preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment using meters, perform ground testing, lightning protection testing, troubleshooting various electrical circuits and components. Make emergency electrical calls as needed. Schedule periodic inspections and servicing activities. Inspect and service a wide variety of electrical equipment / systems to ensure safe, efficient operation. Installs new electrical equipment and systems as needed. Order material as necessary. Follows and adheres to all safety rules, policies and procedures. Maintains records, prepare periodic reports of work activities. Perform periodic inspections of base wide fire suppression system and controls associated.

The Disaster Recovery Coordinator 2 (DRCII) serves in a part time, on-call, as-needed position.  The Disaster Coordinator II conducts preliminary assessments of disaster related damage to public infrastructure for determination if a Governor's Emergency Proclamation or Presidential Declaration is warranted. Performs a wide variety of engineering functions to estimate work and costs involving damaged or destroyed property/facilities due to natural or man-caused disasters. Assists applicants with submitting Public Assistance (PA) applications for State and Federally declared events. Personally prepares for any time (24/7) response and no-notice recall to the State or Alternate Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) and / or Joint Field Office (JFO) during disaster or exercise activations. Trains for specific SEOC positions and performs duties as assigned through internal agency policy.
