PHOENIX -- Arizona wildfire season is right around the corner. Agencies across the state are ramping up efforts to be ready when the fires come. One area that frequently experiences wildfires is northeastern Arizona. 

 

PHOENIX -- When most people think of Arizona, they don’t imagine floodwaters rushing down a residential street, overflowing retention basins, and shutting down freeways. However, flooding occurs often in Arizona, between 40 and 100 times a year.

 

The relationship between the Arizona county and tribal emergency managers is one in which they communicate with each other regularly throughout the year. One way they do this is by coming together to share information and discuss problems.
