Command Sergeant Major Fidel Zamora entered the United States Army on August 3rd, 1989.  He joined the Arizona Army National Guard on January 7, 2000.

His assignments include Operations NCO, 91st Civil Support Team; First Sergeant, 91st Civil Support Team; Brigade Operations Sergeant Major, 158th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade; Command Sergeant Major 158th Infantry Battalion; Command Sergeant Major 198th Regional Support Group and Senior Enlisted Advisor, Joint Task Force- Arizona.

CSM Zamora was mobilized in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 2007-2008 with the 1st Battalion 158th INF.

He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Business Management from Grand Canyon University, and is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy.

CSM Zamora and his wife Olivia reside in Litchfield Park with their children Christian, Melissa and Isabella.
