  • Why the long wait?
We truly appreciate your patience as we worked out the details with ADOT. They worked tirelessly to make sure our plate choice was in compliance with the required standards to be road worthy. We chose not to release the design until testing was complete which delayed our initial release plans.
  • How was the design selected?
We had a large list of entries! After running the entries through the ADOT design rules, we narrowed down designs for the community to vote on. The top five voted designs would then be reviewed by a panel of Arizona National Guardsmen who discussed each design in length. After a meeting... some follow up emails... and a few more meetings... the panel decided on the winning design to be entered to ADOT and begin the vetting process. To say it was an easy decision would be a lie... we loved all of the entries and are extremely thankful to everyone who submitted their design!
