House Bill 2893 established Section 105 in ARS Title 26 - Border Security Fund; exemption; reimbursement. The Border Security Fund is established and consists of legislative appropriations, gifts, grants and other donations. The Department of Emergency and Military Affairs shall administer the fund.
Senate Bill 1823S Section 106 appropriated the sum of $55,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2020-2021 to the department of emergency and military affairs for deposit into the border security fund established by ARS 26-105.

Border Security Fund Appropriation
Arizona Laws 2022, Chapter 313 (HB2862) appropriated $209,205,000 to the Border Security Fund established by A.R.S. § 26-105. The funds will be distributed by the state treasurer beginning on October 1, 2022, per Laws 2022, Chapter 3212 (HB2871).
Border Barrier & Security Technology Appropriation
Arizona Laws 2022, Chapter 334 (HB2317) allocated $335,000,000 to the Department of Emergency and Military Affairs for the construction, administration, and maintenance of a physical border fence and for the purchase and installation of border security technologies, including cameras, sensors, drones, software and other equipment.
